Trauma-Informed Practitioner
Sono un etnografo e aiuto le persone a creare luoghi sicuri e rispettosi dei vissuti traumatici
Nella vita sono un antropologo culturale e concentro le mie ricerche principalmente su due orizzonti. Da un lato analizzo, da una prospettiva etnografica, gli effetti sul lungo termine dei traumi. E dall’altro, studio il modo con cui gli esseri umani percepiscono culturalmente lo spazio che abitano, in cui lavorano, in cui si curano… gli spazi che costruiscono, e persino che demoliscono.
In particolare, la mia ricerca sul campo si concentra sull’intersezione di questi temi: ovvero studio la percezione, la rappresentazione e la modifica degli spazi domestici per le persone che sono sopravvissute a traumi durante l’infanzia.
Attualmente sono Post-Doctoral Research Fellow all’Istituto di Antropologia della Pontificia Università Gregoriana. Inoltre, sono docente a contratto di Antropologia Visuale e Museale all’Università Niccolò Cusano di Roma.
In definitiva aiuto le persone e gli enti a creare luoghi sicuri che riflettano e rispettino la complessità delle esperienze umane.
